Origin Story

Grizzly Cascara began on the open road.


After a mid‑career pivot from the technology industry, our founder traded screens for scenery and spent years living out of a van, chasing quiet moments between destinations. In the constant motion, one place always felt like home: a thoughtfully run coffee shop. A space that respected the craft, honored the plant, and created an atmosphere you didn’t want to leave.


That feeling became the blueprint.


Grizzly Cascara is named for two companions on that journey — Grizzly, a loyal travel partner, and cascara, the fruit of the coffee plant itself. Together, they represent balance: grounded and wild, intentional and free.


Today, we bring that same sense of calm and intention wherever we park — serving coffee sourced with care, brewed with respect, and presented with warmth.
